4 Remans since '98 and I can't do it again. This is the first one that I have personally blown and in hind sight I let it get too hot. Should have backed off and called it a day. I've taken the best care of all the cars and more than simple reliability mods have been done. If another 13b goes in it will be just to sell a running car. I don't want to drop 5k in right now to put a V8 in. Expect to see a part out section in the FS section.

Thank you everyone for your input and help!! :-)
Did you deflood and compression check before you put in the new plugs?

Why are you putting ATF into a vac line? Which vac line? Your engine isn't generating vacuum in any appreciable amount while cranking.

What to do next? I suggest you properly diagnose the problem. Doing things out of sequence is about the same as doing nothing at all in some cases.

For instance...

You tried new plugs... if you did this before de-flooding/comp check the chamber could still have been washed out. No combustion from low compression and you wash down your new plugs with fuel. No spark at electrode. Again.

All I'm saying is get some numbers and do it right before you write it off.

Whoa whoa... you did go back and compression check from the leading plugs, right?
