I got rid of the "super reflective" headlight units, and put the stockers back in. I like the stockers more. When I had the "super reflective" lenses in, they would scatter the light everywhere.

You do realize that the ebay headlights and the wisesports ones are the same. I have a set sitting in my room waiting to do a retrofit/

Also these arent even true hid's. If you look at the pics posted by Jeff, you can tell that there is no cut off and the light just shines all over.

I have the same "SONAR" lights. The WiseSports ones are the same as the eBay lights.

I'm using HID, and Dom is right. The wise sports and ebay lenses are THE SAME. Also about the light shining everywhere. That is true too. Though I've only had one person get mad about my lights behind them. The lady even pulled to the right, had me pass her, and she started high beaming me. I even flashed my high beams to let her know that my normal lights are just bright as hell.

Also one time I was going uphill I got flashed once, but that's a given since I was going uphill. Other than that, non one has ever bothers me about my lights. a lot of hondas are worse. Cops don't even second look my lights.

Not really. I'm going to play with them a little more when I get a chance. Had alot happen to me in the last couple of weeks that has kept me busy. They def. scatter light everywhere(ie I can see a light strip about 3 feet high by 1 foot high to my 10:00 all by itself). I'll prob. end up taking them back out. I purchased them because they are the same as the wiseports. I'll prob. post a video of the scattered light in a week or so.

I'm pretty happy with my eBay housing/silverstar combo. Definitely an upgrade to the cloudy 15 year old stockers. Don't forget that JDM or E-Spec lights are made for cars that drive on the left side of the road, so the beam pattern's gonna be screwy on a LHD car no matter how you try to aim them.

A very good explanation of what Heath is getting at.

Another very good explanation of the pitfalls of trying to use an HID bulb in a housing meant for H4 halogen bulbs.

Actually, the E-Spec or E-Code lights are for European LHD cars.

I have a set, and they are wonderful with H4 bulbs, esp. with a dedicated harness.

I'm going to see if the Ebay lenses will fit on the OEM housings. I have the Ebay housings and the light output is definitely an improvement over stock, but the fact that it has a cutoff and is aimed to the left, makes it hard to have a proper adjustment with good light output. The clear ebay lenses on OEm housings would be better IMO.

Neil,
Lets see some pictures of the E-Spec. Are they glass?
