Wiring: Where to pull 12V for water temp gauge

I need 12V for my electronic analog water gauge, I hooked it off one wire I found but it turned out to be hooked up to the dimmer circuit so that was "not good" (tm).
Somebody needs to scan the body electrical manual and post it like the workshop manual :-)
Thanx!

Yeah, pick a fuse down by the clutch pedal for the (+) and ground for (-). Viola.

PS- probably wanna pick a fuse that is switched to ACC.

At the upper left of the fuse panel is a recessed male spade connector that is 12V switched. At least on my 94 there is.

I hooked it up off the wires for the radio. And you can use the wire off the center console for the light so that it come on when you turn the headlights on.

The problem I'm running into is that it is by no means stock, the wires are spliced for a turbo timer, alarm system and stereo and I'm not the one who installed them so I'm unsure what is what. Thank you for all your tips and someone also posted on the list that the wiring diagram is here:
