Ok to start with i needed to get a new wiring harness for my 93 manuel fd..So i got one off a reputable person on the forum and to my amazment there is an extra connector that goes back into the cabin. It is a black connector with 5 wires going in to. I have the 2 yellow ones, and the 2 white ones but this harness is different than my 93...Can someone lead me in the right direction? and if it has any purpose.

 

OOK im really dumb it goes into the control unit under the dash..DUH! anyways y is this harness different than the one i have now? Possibly a 95 engine harness.?

Ok, i need to elaborate a lil better because im a little confused on what im looking at under the passenger side dash of my car. I put in my new harness, and i noticed that the control box under the car already was connected with its proper connector. When looking at my harness under the car there is another identical connector for the lil control box (black box). Instead of the harness being 2 yellow, 1 white, 1 blue connector this one has 2 yellow, 2 whtie, the black one for the control box and 1 single wire connector(which i know of; testing purpose only). SO i dont understanf how the control unit connector is wired into the engine harness and the one of my car know is different..So confusing.

 

I think your talking about the fan control update box...Look up fan mod and you will learn of this. If you want search my name and you will find some info also.

 

I know what is......i was just making referance to it...OK. It is already hooked up, but off the engine harness there is an identical connector for it. Thats y im so confused.

 

so u are saying there are two fan update control box conectors?

 

im theory yes.....both the same with the same amount of wires going into it etc....like i said the harness i got is different but for a manuel unless its a modified auto?

 

can u take a pic of this...It might help...I'm trying to find if this other part exists...

 

also can you describe the wires with the exact coloring(ie Black, or B/W black with white stripe , etc.)
