wiring harness connectors

Hey I'm working on a silicone hose job and have found a number of melted connectors. Is there some place I can order new ones? I don't want to glue them like the previous owner.

Also, my car has been parked about 6 or maybe 7 mo by the time i'll be ready to start it up. What's the deal with putting ATF in the chambers? How much would I need to use? I'm assuming you'd drop it in the leading plug hole?

Try to start the car first before you go dumping that *** into your motor.

Oh, a new harness is 650ish new from malloy. Ask me how i know

Just manually prime the fuel system, manually crank the engine for a few turns, and then try starting first.

650 from malloy... Man I don't wanna go that route. I just need a few connectors and I'll be good as new. Besides .. I don't even want to imagine the hell that would be to change out. The rats nest is bad enough.

Ah well i'm single with everything eliminated, so the entire swap took me under an hour

You really have no other choice, unless you want to find another harness and solder connectors on..

why would you solder connectors on? the molex connectors pull right out, then you just put them in the new plastic casing....

can you get a picture of the plug you need, some connectors you can get from FC's at the junk yard then just pull out the pins i just use a old apex seal spring to remove them.

Send me pics (at richardprunnells@msn.com) of the ones you need. I just replaced my engine harness with a new one from Malloy. So if I have the ones you need you can have them for free (you just pay shipping). A couple of the connectors on my old harness are broken, but most are in good shape (the wires however are an entirely different story, hence the new harness).
