could anyone help me with this?
going single, have removed olemost everything around the engine, but what can i do with the wires to the solenoids for the twin setup? can i just cut them away?
running PFC, and want everything as clean and nice as possible...
have removed airpump, ac, twvins and all that goes with it..
hoping for answears, regards,stig

if you are going with a different ECU then you could just cut them away, but at the expense of: never being able to go back to stock. try taking the entire wire harness apart and removing the wires completely... taking the pins out of the main ECU connectors.
this will also give you the prime opportunity to re-wrap your harness with non cracking and old tape/split loom. 10+ years of rotary engine bay heat does a number on the harness shielding.

thanks!
yes, I'm running a Power FC, so that would not be any problem i think..
just want to get all the wires away.. and its a good idea to just take the wires all the way to the ECU, an wrap the harness with new tape..
Thanks again!

I rewrap the complete thing after cutting the wires 4 or five inches from the ECU connector .At the same time I replace any hard brittle wires and broken connectors .I wrap the wires with fiberglass tape but with the sticky side out so the wires can be moved into a curve if needed with out breaking ,then wrap a layer of black tape sticky side in .

Garco, that is a great idea... but why not use regular electrical tape on the inside layer... sticky side out, and then use some 300 degree fiber/cloth tape for the outside layer?
this would put the most heat resistant layer on the outside and still allow the harness to flex accordingly.
