Exclamation Wiper trouble!

I was driving home today and my wipers were working fine until all of a sudden for no reason they stopped in the middle of the windshield........I was like oooooook. So I pulled into a gas station for a little bit to check the fuses and such since I always have extras with me. The problem was that I checked the wiper fuse, both front and back, and they were fineż? Are the wipers tied in with any other fuses at all? So I'm stumped, is there a relay for the wipers that im missing under the hood? So if someone could help me fix this that would be great, thanks.

Check the brushes in the motor .If they are worn out you can make new ones by filing or sanding a set for another motor . The dealer does not supply new ones .I made mine from a set from Advanced Auto .

if you have power at the plug of the wiper motor with the ignition on and wiper switch on.(check with test light). check for a bad ground before you change the wiper motor.get a peice of wire and touch the motor housing to a good ground while the ignition and the wiper switch is on and see if the wipers work.hope this helps you.i have seen this happen before.
