winterizing FD

I read somewhere that you had to remove the fuel pump relay in order to get all the fuel out of the engine, is it very necessary?

Should i start my car back and do it before the 5 months of sleeping?

Anything else is VERY important?

i don't see anything there that says to remove the relay to shut the car before putting it in for storage, that is why i was asking here, i had already seen it on this page.

anyone else?
