Winter project (unexpected)

You know, I was looking at the engine bay the other day and thinking how it was getting sort of dirty. To do it right, I reasoned, would entail pulling the engine and perhaps repainting.
Boy, did I get what I really didn't need.
One third gear pull at 11 lbs. One small ping. One front rotor with 0,0 and 125lbs.
I'm disappointed but not even thinking twice about fixing this car. I've owned it since 2000 and have never driven a more satisfying or rewarding car.
One thing, however. For those of you who still have original engine wiring harnesses, think about replacing them.
When the car was laston the dyno, the tech (dave B.) told me the Datalogic, manual gauge and power fc boost readings weren't agreeing. He suggested I replace the engine harness.
You know what the #### I did? Went out and bought some rear end bushings.
Yup, and I do marine electrical systems for a living.
Still working out the logic but the most plausible explaination is overboost.
So the winter project will begin...

The PFC can be and should be calibrated to match. PFC's and boost gauges don't match from the beginning for just about everyone. You should do the same when you get a 3 Bar as well. Also depending on where you have the line for the boost gauge and where the map sensor reads can differ slightly as well. Combine all of this with a gauge that may be slightly off and you could have a recipe for disaster.

So from what i understand pining is predetanation, so this means that the fuel will ignite in the combression phase then?? and then the explosion will jam the opposite apex seal against the rotor housing?? I really waht to know more about this, so this problem never gets over looked when i get an FD, Thanks in advance
