Anybody have a problem with the driver window controls? The driver button that controls the passenger window stopped working for a while seeming to have been disconnected with what controls it. Now the button fell off and doesnt seem to want to go back on. I already took out all the screws for the panel any suggestions froms somebody who may have had the same or similar problem?


Also I going to purchase a Power FC any website somebody recommends? I remember a good group buy going on a while back.

People have problems with the driver side window controls all the time. Either the contact wear out or the switch itself breaks. Take your chances on buying a used one or call Malloy Mazda and buy a new one.

 

you can get the PFC from rotary extreme or the rx7store. But I doubt you can get a GB price.

There was a thread about getting japanese PFC's that seemed to work but you need to make sure that you get the correct PFC that works for our model years. Do a search I think you'll be able to find it.

 

You can always just buy a pfc from somebody off the forum in the forsale section for like 1/2 price...

I actually ended up taking apart the driver side button control after the panel of course. When I got under the chip or fuse plate I saw the system it used. The buttons actually serve as movers of a lever that causes a spring to be set back or forward triggering the fuse plate to make the window go up or down. I had to actually open that up to find this out. I am going to fix that, the button was alil broke and out of place. I am gonna fix it pretty easy actually and then reinstall my panels. I kind of like them off for now she feels alil quicker!! : )
