Windshields - Chinese (FYG), South African (SafeVue/Pilkington), something else ?

Hey guys, remember, esp. on windshields, Factory (OE), is far superior to OEM.
In short, OEM is NOT equal to OE.
Thinking OEM and OE are equivalent, is a form of marketing heuristic, based upon similarity:

Neil, this is exactly what is etched onto the glass:
HPR DOT 122M40 AS1
FW715
IIRC the "715" is the model. This is the bronze tint and it has a grey band across the top, which is supposedly correct for my '93 (per Ray Crowe).
Hope this helps.
PS: At the time of replacement (c. 2009), the window was available in at least 3 different tint schemes and from a couple of different vendors.

windshield replacement dilemma for 2003 Subaru Outback Wagon Limited Edition
I got a sand truck pebble on the bottom of my windshield- my 2003 Subaru 4-door Outback Station Wagon Limited Edition. It’s now a 10” spider vein and I can’t pass inspection without replacing it. It’s the original Carlex. I have USAA insurance and they partner with Safelite. It’s becoming a nightmare. My local Subaru dealer quoted my $700 plus tax for OEM. USAA will pay put to $262 and I have no idea what that includes. Another shop uses FYG and says it only comes with the green sun tint and heating...no radio antenna etc. Can they do this? What about the defrosting elements, the radio, the a/c elements and whatever else my OE has?
What does anyone suggest? I do a ot of long distance driving and LOVE this car.
