windshield wiper spoilers?
Are there supposed to be two of these little plastic spoilers? I have one on one of my blades but the other is plain.
Noob question but I can't find the answer anywhere.

According to the Kyosho FD model in front of me at my desk at work, only the passenger side wiper has a spoiler.
My car didn't come with any of them. Can any one take pics? I've seen them in the past, but not since my FD ownership where I would pay attention to the details .
I plan on adding the spoiler back to the car at some point. That's just cool .

i would suppose it is suppose to keep the wiper down at speed. I held on to my OEM wiper for a while, but tossed it. I would have kept it if I knew it was worth money.
I seem to remember it being on the driver's side, but it has been a while.

Yeah - spoiler on the driver's side wiper only. I suppose the thought process was that if you're driving fast enough in the rain for the spoiler to be effective, it's better that the passenger not see what's happening in front of the car, anyway.

I used the plasticote stuff on my CRX. On my 7 they look new. Most people won't have the originals as they are not aware you can replace just the blade instead of the whole wiper.

it's definitely only on the driver's side and like everyone else said, it's to keep your wipers on your windshield at high-speed. Stock impreza's all have them, too. They look pretty cool, to boot.

I removed mine when doing a wiper change. I noticed immediately on the highway 70+ in heavy rain the blade was fluttering off of the windshield not doing its job. Functional and necessary Mine is dull as well has anyone repainted the arms with any success?

Of course after I did all this I realized that I don't drive the RX-7 in the rain anymore and left them off.
