Windshield wiper bolts

So, its raining and I dont have my wiper arms installed. I have a pair and I just got new blades and everything but when I went to install/put them on, I get em on there, but I noticed there has to be some type of bolt that holds it down, hence the threaded motor head.

Where the hell can I find somthing that would work to bolt/screw on?

I believe all that you need are two 12mm or 14mm nuts. I'm not sure what the thread pitch is though.

They're probably more like 8 or 10 mm. You're thinking of the hex head size.

As far as getting nuts... I'd try going somewhere that sells nuts and bolts...

What the wipers bolt to is not actually the motor. It is linkage. The motor is on the firewall.

Just go to the hardware store... and get M8 and M10 nuts.

The wiper motor and linkage assemblys on the FD is rather simple. Either take your car to a professional rotary mechanic or take some specific pictures of what you have a problem with and post it here. You can planly see the breakdown of this system in your manual on page S-33.
