Windshield info shared
Well, I was driving my 95 to a car show this morning and while on the interstate, CRACK. One of the nastiest chips I've ever experienced. So pissed I turned around and went back home. Dirty *** Cincinnati highways. I will never use the interstate again with this car. Anyway, came home and checked out Ebay first, then the forum. Found a gray tint windshield, DOT, from ProSourceGlass who are also online. Looks like an exact match and it's not from China according to this company who has perfect feedback and good history on their website. Built by Libby Nippon from Japan in Mexico. WTH? Lol
Anyway, this company has whatever they need made to order for high end cars. Cost was $324 complete. Might be a little pricey but I will let y'all know what I end up with. They do have another one on Ebay with blue tint fyi.
I'm going to try and have my damage repaired and save the new glass as insurance for later since there seems to be a shortage of these windshields. Anyway, thought people might want to know the newest info on this subject that I found. Cheers

the fun example are the 1993's, which were all built between December of 1991 and about May of 1992.
the crazy example is the 1955 Jaguar XKSS, they are completing the production run in 2019...
