Window Films

Has anyone had any of the Low-E window films installed in their cars? I know here in Cali the summer months are murder, especially if you have a dark car with a dark interior. And I had the thought that maybe this would help out with the heat. Another reason I ask is because there aren't any shops in my area that will do this for a reasonable price, and I think its something worth looking into as long as it wont have a problem with the heating element in the hatch.

Any thoughts?

I had low-e (aluminized) film put on the hatch specifically for the heat rejection and it works great. Rejects about 60% of the heat (IIRC) according to manufacturer, but in real life it makes a huge difference. Paid $99, highly recommend.
