Window adjustment

I think that my drivers side window needs some adjustment. It seems to be going up a bit too far when I close it, causeing the black rubber piece that it sits in to come loose and pop out after rollong the window up and down a few times. Any ideas on how to adjust how far the window goes up?

I'm not sure the window can actually go up any further than normal because of the liner in the door frame itself. It sounds like the strip you're mentioning at the bottom has just come loose and needs to be replaced or re-glued. Just a guess though.

Speaking of adjustment. My driver side window, doesn't always go into the black surround the right way. I often have to "nudge" it by pushing it out when it goes up. Is there any adjustment that can be made? Anyone else ever had this problem? I hope I can adjust the window and something else isn't broken. I will have to take pictures in the next few days to show what I mean. If anyone has any ideas, please help!!!

Although I have never done this for an FD, I'm assuming that their windows function much like all other car windows. Read below:

Remove the interior panels of the doors. From there you should be able to see how the window functions. There should also be some adjusters which help with the angle of the window (which help w/ ensuring that the window is flush w/ the car) as well as little ***** which stop the window from going too far up/down. Make adjustments as necessary. The dealer would do this exact thing.
