Exclamation Will a small hole make the engine Overheat!!

After i rebuilt my engine i check the water level and oil daily before i go out.

Just today when im checking the water level, i found that there is almost no water and i had to fill it up as it was missing a lot of water. After a 3 or 5 miles trip the car started to overheat by almost touching the H letter at the gauge.

When i opened the hood i found that there is a small hole at the black hose going to the radiator and its leaking a lot of hot air and there is almost no water!!

The Question, well that hole cause all these water to be missing?? or is it something else? i gues there is also a few leeks from under!!

Any hole in the coolant system will eliminate the ability for the system to hold pressure. Unpressurized coolant boils off at far lower temperatures than pressurized. Your car WILL overheat under these conditions. My engine DID overheat under these conditions... one time only (bad filler cap and loose pipe plug on filler nech due to previous owner's incompetence). I replaced my engine due to bad O-rings 5 months later.

You MUST replace the coolant hoses to the engine. There are 14 of them, and if one is gone, the rest are going. I don't know how hard it is for you to get those hoses in the Middle East, but you really need to do this, or you will be looking for a replacement engine in the Middle East.

I mean it.
