Yup, that is what I am running right now, it'll fit. I had it professionally installed along with 4.3 gears. Best to look into some www.rx7.com diff bushings and some new axle oil seals at the same time.

Is it out of a tll ? tll ring gear is 8" and n/a is 7" i know the tll diff will work but i dont think the n/a will. the tll diff is used pull the fd ring gear off and install it on the tll diff you will use the tll bearing and race but you will use the fd shim's try not to cross sides with them. you can check lash with dial mich. mine was 7 though. with good gear mesh. Im sure there are better people here to explain this to you. Good luck

if it's a japanese FC, it has to be a turbo.

btw: what are the advantages of this type of limited slip rear over the stock rear?

stock torsen diff can break during launched or hard shifts. The S4 TII diff is a clutch type and can withstand much more abuse. I bought a brand new one and had it cryo-treated for the hell of it

clutch types are awesome. Way more predictable and usually stonger than other types. Alot of road racers like the torsen but for hard abuse clutch types own. Im probably going to go with a tomei trax advance 2-way in my FD, or maybe look into a ats unit. 4.3 gears would be really nice and while you will be swaping out diffs you may want to consider picking up a 4.3 r&p for a nice upgrade all at once.

I love them. really made a difference in acceleration. When you purchase, you'll need some OEM parts, at a bare minimum the crush sleeve. Ray at malloy can get all of it for ya.....when I ordered my gears, i was told 'you can reuse all your parts' which is incorrect. i ended up getting new axle oil seals and new bearings as well, ended up spending about $250 extra in parts. Do it once, do it right.....
