Question Will I need a block off plate with no air pump?

I'am still a little confused but I'am getting pointed in the right direction. I can come across the belt size now. I don't want to buy the pulleys to get rid of the air pump. My main cat is gutted so I just need to take off the air pump. My question is, will I need a block off plate when I get rid of the air pump. If so, where do I put the block off plate and where can I buy a block off plate.

Thank you,

Jonas

Jonas, yes you will need the block off plates. There are 3 of them.

One goes on the underneth of the inlet manifold, one goes on the back of the engine (needs to be done from under the car) and the third I cant remember.

If you dont have the plates fitted, your idle will be all over the place.

Where do I get these plates, are they bolted in and is there a place for the bolts to go in?

There you go Jonas.
I'am not smart enough to guess most of the abreviations, are those block off plates for the air pump, all 3 of them at least?

if you remove the air pump, you should also remove the ACV and AVC pipe. you can install block off plates where those two things attached. There aren't any block off plates for the air pump per se.

Much apreciated. AVC stands for? Damn I feel like a rookie on this.

ACV=Air Control Valve

The other block-off plate of the 3 is on the passenger side of the engine below the acv.
