Will a Greddy Profec B Spec 2 Boost Control Solenoid work w/Greddy Profec B Spec 1?
Hi,
I just have a quick question if anyone can answer it:
"Will a Greddy Profec B Spec 2 Boost Control Solenoid work with an older model unit i.e. Greddy Profec B Spec 1?"
I don't see why not, but I'd like to confirm.
TIA,
Rizwan

What, a Profec Spec II solenoid? Sell it. It works on most major Japanese aftermarket electronic boost controllers. Profec S, Profec Spec II, E-01, AVC-R, and EVC-S all use the same Denso solenoid. It's also compatible with the MAC/AEM/Haltech solenoid. The Blitz controllers are a little different and it's not going to be compatible.
Now, the stepper motor on your old Profec might be relatively useless. It might work on an old HKS EVC (stepper type) but that's only a guess.
