Will FC Spare Wheel Fit?

My FD didn't come with a spare tire. I found out the hard way, on the side of the road, that FC TII wheels don't fit my new car. However I was told that the FC spare would fit, is this true? I need to get a spare so I don't have to tow the car home again or be screwed on a long trip, and I can get a spare from a FC for free if it'll work.

A16 inch FC spare will fit on the rear or front...However it does not lay flush against the hub flange. So i would and I do ONLY use it for a temp wheel while sitting in the shop. I would NOT drive with it on due to it putting an ungodly amount of load on the wheel studs. Which then could break creating more fun than you know what to do with

So Find a used spare from a FD if you want a true spare tire to count on getting you home You can put a search in for yards with spares on Junkyarddog.com They will search their webring of salvage yards for what you need. I have found quite a few good little things like lights etc.. in great shape on there.

Call Ray @ Malloy mazda 1-888-533-3400 for a new one. or search the for sale section on the board here. Be carefull

That's what I figured...I ran into that exact problem, the wheel fit but wouldn't sit flush against the hub, and that's a no-no. I thought that perhaps the FC spare would sit flush, maybe the hub center hole was a little bigger but oh well. I'll just track down a used FD spare and leave it at that. Thanks for the link, I'll check there.
