Will bent and cracked swaybar mounts cause.....

Just curious if my bent and cracked sway bar mounts could be part of my reason why I rub on hard turns? I am ordering the Maxdatrix reinforced ones Monday. Just wondering if I am still going to need coilovers or what to fix the rubbing..

Well, bent sway bar mounts could certainly be part of the problem. If the sway bar isn't located and secured correctly it could be the thing making the rubbing noise.

Alternatively, if your tires are rubbing on the chassis on hard turns then you most likely have:
tires too big
ride height too low
incorrect offset (for your tire size and ride height)

Hard to impossible to answer your question without more information, but it is imperative for your safety that the swaybar be solidly mounted. I can't see how coilovers would effect your rubbing other than giving you the option to increase the ride height.

Currely using koni yellows w/Eibach springs. SSR comp wheels in 17/9.5 and 17/8.5's. With correct offsets. I am sure I could use a stiffer spring but was just wondering about the mounts......
