I searched the hell out of it and found nothing. My friends FD has this horrible shuttering/vibration sound coming from the turbines on the up and down rev at 1,400rpm. When I put me ear to the top intake it is the most loudest. I did notice his piping was loose but when he tightened it it didn't fis the sound. The car has about 70,000 original mile with exhaust and intake only. Any help would be great guys. Thanks

 

did you even try to look into the turbo inlet and check shaft play?

 

I plan on checking it this sunday. I hope it's not the case. I've had to get a few turbines rebuilt and they never sounded like this.
