my car seems to pop every once in a while when its just idleing....sorta sounds like a thump (people tells me it sounds like i have subs) just wondering if this is normal...i have a downpipe and gutted cat.

Not a problem. Just unburned fuel having some fun in your muffler. Rotaries run pretty rich at idle. If you don't like it, put a cat back on the car.

 

hmm... i have a gutted precat, but a stock cat... is that bad?

 

Yup ... talking to me . Mine does it more when warming it up. I got hks dp and catback. Assuming it has something to do with less back pressure..... not a prob
