Wideband, Pulley, Blockoff plate Install Progress *PICS*
Well, I got my AEM UEGO Wideband O2 sensor in the mail today, and my Greddy pullies and RX7store blockoff plates tomorrow, so today was the teardown.
*Wideband*
So far, I just have the sensor installed, no wiring yet. I pulled the midpipe and had the bung welded in this afternoon. I decided on the midpipe since I'll eventually go single, and this is a good place in regards to temperature and vertical installation. This is about 80 degrees above the horizontal, well more than the 10 degree requirement set by AEM. The weld quality is top notch.
*Blockoff Plates & Pulleys*
Well, I don't have them yet, but I pulled damn near everything above the rats nest. The airpump took a **** on me about a week ago, so all related stuff is getting pulled and blocked. The old pulleys came off pretty easy (not pictured), but I broke a screwdriver bracing the alternator. Oops! Engine bay pics:
*My helper*
Mainly just sat in the corner, unlike his buddy that kept stealing my sockets and putting them in the yard. I was looking for an adapter for about a half hour before I wandered outside and found just a PILE of sockets and adapters.
*Tranny Brace*
From the A-Spec Rotary Revolution Group buy, this brace is a tight, but perfect fit. Bolting must be done in a very specific order. Looks good though!
Also done (or in progress):
Double Butterfly Removal
Throttle Body Coolant bypass
AWS Elimination
Not too shabby for an afternoon. Any other suggestions while I'm in there?

Great! Is this the AEM unit with the 52mm gauge?
For anyone interested, and this may be old news, but the Techedge people sent me this link to an actual Bosch sensor. How nice of them.

Don't worry if your missing any. You'll find them with the lawnmower sooner or later.

The Uego is not the guage-type, but i'll be modifying the 5V output to work with my Autometer guage.
The LIM is covered, there's plastic bags shoved in the holes.
The ***** is a flashlight.
