wideband placement

i just purchased an AEM Uego wideband controller gauge. i used one on my 11 second evo and i swear by them now. but i was wondering about 02 bung placement in the downpipe. these are heated bosch sensors and on piston engines must be placed around 1.5 to 2 feet away from the turbo. but the rotary runs much hotter, so i was wondering the concensus of o2 sensor placement. how far away on a 2 rotor from the turbos should it be placed so it doesnt over heat, or destroy it? im thinking around 3-4 feet away, or just before the mid pipe. of course on top of the pipe for moisture reasons. Discuss...

Been discussed many times.....in the downpipe or midpipe close to the downpipe/midpipe junction is about the best place.
