The car itself is great if you are willing to take the time, and pay the money to keep it maintaned well. That is the whole key to the car really, just to take the time and effort with it. If you do this for the car, the car will re-pay you time and time again.q

I totally agree with point 1, but in regards to point 2, understeer is more natural to correct from 99% of the time... brake.

I'm not going to try to convince you to get an FD.

You should just Know that you want one. If you really wanted one, you would have researched what these cars require and know how to properly maintain one. If you're needing some sort of convincing, then most likely there's just going to be 1 less FD on the road due to neglect. Not trying to be an ******* or anything, but you must realize what these cars require. If you have done research and know what to do, then by all means get and FD and respect it.

also the weight issue, fd's have better acceleration. also i could be wrong but top speed is an issue for 4 wheel drive cars, i dont think the diff can handel it.

actually, the beauty of the WRX is the all-wheel drive. want more understeer ... just keep your foot on the throttle. want the tail to come out (read: oversteer) ... just lift your lead foot. it's really neat to watch .... like on an auto-x course. but, true ... FD's do have better acceleration and if you get good at rpm matching (like heel-toe), you'll have tons more fun coming out of corners.

P.S. FD's look much better
well, DUH ...
