Exclamation Why are some different??

Ya...I know the differences in years, but I was just browsing auto trader for the hell of it and noticed there are a lot of 94's with steel sunroofs instead of the glass moonroof.
Why is this? Does it mean it was produced earlyer in the year so it did not recieve it, but is still classified as a 94? If so does this also meen that the cars did not take on the better reliability issues of the other older 94's?
