I always wondered if the light was always on in the refrigerator, every time I look inside it, its on. So it must just stay on all the time.

One word: TSB.

If your car is a 93, they had a TSB to fix that.

Recall

The car i bought had that recall done recently and all mazda did was install a piece of small flat metal right where the glove box door meets the switch when you close it. So all you have to do is get a small piece of metal the size of half a dime and stick it there. Make sure the thickness of it is about 3 times of that dime. I hope that helps!!

Here is the fastest and cheapest fix for that...

Take a ride down to Home Depot Racing. They sell these little furry adehsive backed thingys that are designed to stick right to the bottom of an ornament or anything so that it doesn't scrath up wooden furniture. They come in shapes of circles. Buy it and simply attach one of those little circles to the glove box door right at the location where it meets with the glove light switch, and there is your TSB :p.

I did the same as Flybye and it worked great. It was cheap an only took 2 seconds to install.

I just glued a little black piece of plastic to the glove box. It was some piece that broke off of something else. Worked great. Why the whole was to Home Depot Racing when you do it at home.
