Who's installed SPAL fans?

They only sell one kit which has dual 11" fans (16.25" tall x 23.5" wide)
2780 CFM for both (combined) in a single shroud.
Depth is 3.7" and stock is 3.5" (so much for low profile)

The tech guy mentioned a rotary shop in Texas has used it but he can't remember which one (possibly Rotary Performance).

Since the hight of my fluidyne is 14.5" (not including the hump side) the hole in the tab would have to be approximately 1" below the top of 16.25" to meet the bvrackets sitting approximately 1" above.

The other choice is two sperate single shroud fans:
11.75" tall x (slightly under) 12" wide
Some brackets may have to be made
$316 ($158 x 2) + shipping

Wirining harness if needed $40 x 2

OK, i'm confused the technical section shows our fans as 11.8"
Is my measuring all wrong?

Does anbody know the CFM on the stock fans? ...on the 99+ fans?

Stock fans are actually damn good, all things considered. Dunno if you'd necessarily gain anything going to the aftermarket fans.

Well my blades are chewd up a bit, so I thought of replacing them with the 99's (allthough they draw more power). Then I was thinking if I could get both low profile and more CFM then why not replace the motors and shroud as well. It looks like Flex-A-Lite has the low profile version and not SPAL. Their dual 10" kit is 3600 CFM but almot 1/2" thicker.

3200 CFM for stockers? ok, so only the dual Flex-A-Lite 10" fans are worth changing over to.

The problem is that you're going to have a very difficult time improving upon the stock fan assembly, especially if you want a thinner fan/shroud assembly.

Would it be worth putting fans on the rear of my Apexi FMIC? I'm mostly worried about stop-n-go traffic with the A/C on and outside temps over 100F.
