I spun a front stationary gear bearing...metal shaving everywhere in the oil pan. I would have had the engine in by now, but I have to wait for my parts to come in...next year...so looks like my 7's down until then.

mine runs just fine! 29k on engine, turbos and clutch and going strong! *knocks on wood* hehe. In the process of fixing some minor non-engine related things (Diff brace and probably sway bar mounts to cure wheel hop and body roll)

Running pretty damn well. Clutch will need replacing before too long, and the turbos will need a rebuild next year, but everything else is peachy.

It's running fine, it's all the other little issues. Broken 5th gear synchro, useless Bose system, sticky antenna, various squeeks/rattles, suspension clunk, glove box latch that refuses to work correctly, blinking airbag light (for the last 5k miles) etc.

1. Crank Sensor check engine comes in and out. When it happens, it won't let me boost pass 0 psi.(Can you imagine having a turbo car and not being able to boost??)
2. Cruise Control stays on for 2 seconds, then it shuts down by itself.
3. 2nd & 5th gears are giving me a hard time to shift.

Other than that, it's still running good.

I'm working too much lately to get my car back on the road. I have about 4K in parts just waiting on me to get enough time for the install...

Mine was running fine until a Suburban hit me on Christmas day...

Fortunatly, I'm going to start work on it the day the insurance check arrives, so I expect to have it back on the road before then end of January

Mechanically, through, its in great shape!

You know what, that is EXACTLY what mine is like. I have the throwout bearing making noise now. At least thats what it sounds like to me. Other than that, its fine.
