Alright so here's the deal. I'm heading to Japan in mid July - Mid August, and I had a buddy who was going to come with me till money starting to become a problem. Now here's the real problem, if I was going to just look at temples & museums I'd be fine, but I'm not, I'm going to enjoy all the things that I can't experience here, things like mountain roads and hot springs and mountain roads, food and mountain roads ( I'm still gonna do the other stuff..... kinda lol), but having a travel buddy who's really into driving, NOT JUST INTERESTED but INTO, NOT CURIOUS but INTO DRIVING would just be the best!

I have most things set up , and bonus for you, you save lots of $$$$$, just take care of your flight/food/shelter and your good to go.

Quick run down of myself: Male, 24, into cars/racing amoung other things, listen to all types of music etc.

Oh man.....This is kind of funny me and my best friend were just talking about planning a trip to the motherland yesterday. haha. I've always wanted to go so this is SO tempting. How long you staying for?

 

Rough idea on how much the total trip would cost? Do you drink/go out/like women?

My son and I are going next year over Memorial Day week. Going with friends who speak the language and have family over there. Staying near Tokyo and budgeting $5K each for a 10 day trip, assuming that we "may" need to supply our own lodging.

I went 2 times in 2008. Once in Jan for 1 month. Once in July for 1 month. I spent $5000-$6000 first time, and $4500 2nd time. I went easy the 2nd time because I went to singapore right after.

I plan on going again next year if possible. Probably for work/race event.

 

I know this is a serious question, I mean you have to ask (haha)...its just funny/awkward to read.



I'm going to China next summer; I've always wanted to walk on the great wall. No plans for the JDM land, one day.
