I did a quick search and only found Rotary extreme kits. As I'm sure you all know, rotary extreme is not up and running, or at least their website isn't. Who makes and sells them now anyway?

Any pictures installed?

I looked at each link you attached...none of them had a V-mount intercooler kit.

The RE one may have, but it was in japanese.

Then you didn't look hard enough. I know for sure that revo-tune, hks, knightsports, and re-amemiya all have them on their sites. Contact fdnewbie (Ramy) and he can tell you about them and get just about anything you want.

Every last one had a vmount intercooler kit available on their site. You simply did not look. Not everyone can hold your hand thru life. I've shown you the door. Simply walk in and take a look

I've actually helped you more than most people would have in the situation (as noted by the responses).

Awww... but I wanted you to hold my hand...

No, I really did look. Obviously I'm not looking in the right spot. The Revo-Tune website was all in japanese. I saw the intercooler, but I guess it would help if it was in english. http://revo-tune.jp/catalogue/detail.php?id=68

HKS, I clicked intercoolers, intercooler kits, and all I found was this http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=727 all front mounts.

The R-Magic site didn't work.

Knightsport was like that of Revo-tune, it was not in English, and even under FD3S there were no V mount's. Or at least, none that I could find.

Re's site worked... again in Japanese http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/commodit...3cfef&scd=8174

FDnewbie has intercoolers, or at least it says he does, but I don't show any specific V-Mounts. I'll email him.

Thanks for your help.

Ramy (FDnewbie) has been talking about being 'close' to a kit design for more than a year now, but last I saw the only thread he had discussing it's development was 'locked' pending progress on the kit. That was months ago. Anyone who lives in his area know if he's any closer to offering a completed product anytime soon??

Okers, we can hold hands

just a quickie from Revo's site:

http://revo-tune.jp/catalogue/detail.php?id=68

Shoot me a pm, bc i'm rarely on aim (when i get off of work, i normally go wrench on the FD, then have dinner and go to sleep). Let me know what you hp goals are, intended usage with the car, and what sized turbo you will be running with the VMIC, and we'll point you to the right direction

Wow... if you look at the Yen pricing, isn't that something like $4k and change. Ouch.

Yea, it's 4 large for their kit before importing and any applicable duty fee's. FWIW, they use an ARC radiator and ARC intercooler, which is partially why it's so expensive. As to what is so special about ARC intercoolers and radiators, and why they cost so much. . . no idea Average Vmic is $2300 - 3400 from what i've seen, so i have no idea what else warrants the extra 600 bucks.

I'm picking that favorite one of yours on saturday! HAHA! The Knightsports version is around $2600 and is probably your best bet. There is also a writeup on the install here on the forum by RX7LINK. The HKS is the oldest vmount of the group. It also has the largest core. It's only on the japan HKS website under r type vmount. The Revotune unit is the most expensive because part, what RedR1 mentioned, but also because it comes with intakes for the twins (revotuned rebadged greddy intakes, and a greddy elbow. The HKS unit also comes with a elbow. They are the only two left on the market to include elbows. The other kits are just i/c, rad, and mounting hardware. In some of the kits, you'll also get a/c relocation lines, but are of no use for us since we're LHD.

LUCKY!

I couldn't find the knightsport one on the website... In fact it didn't show too many items on they're list to sell anyway. However, I did find it doing a google search. Is this it?

Ramy's kit is getting closer to being finished then it was. There is a new thread in his section about the v-mount progress and intake set ups. There is a lot to consider when designing the v mount kit, it takes time unfortunatly.

Here is a pic of a finished Prototype kit from FDnewbie that was on my car for a little while.

That kit was pretty much designed for my set up. The actual production kit will be designed to work with factory twins, power steering and A/C.
