N-tech sold a nylon bushing set until pretty recently but it seems to have disappeared from their site. You might want to give em a call to see what its status is.

You can get stock ones from Mazda. If you are looking for aftermarket ones, you might be out of luck unless you find some in the Classified section (or Jim feels like there is enough demand for another run of bushings).

I've read that there are aftermarket ones from Mazdaspeed and AutoEXE. Never heard anything much about either except for the high prices.

Jim,

any chance of another run? I might be interested in two or three sets.

You said it about the high prices. I went and looked for either the Mazdaspeed or AutoExe bushings. I found the Mazdaspeed bushings which can be purchased individually from japanparts.com; the whole set goes for the super affordable price of $1654.54 at today's exchange rates. How lovely.

That's not bad considering the usual USA pricing for Mazdaspeed stuff and the fact that the OEM bushings add up to about $900.....

Jim needs to do another run... Hint, Hint.

Can't you just have the RX 7 store carry them?

You find at least twelve people willing to put cash on the barrel head and I'll have another run made. Short of that, no dice. I had enough trouble scraping together twelve paying customers the last time around.

So Jim, are you saying if the RX7 Store would order a batch of 12 sets you would be up for that? Who's got Jason's email address?

PM me prices on the bushings. I might be up for ordering enough to make it worthwhile.

Key word was.

I was informed when I picked up the bushings from the last group buy that the price of the materials had gone up. They honored the previous quote, but said that I would be getting new pricing for all the bushing kits (MKIII & MKIV Supra, FD3S RX-7).

One other possible option at getting some bushings made is this company called Orijin Motorsports. For now they sell assorted bushings for Hondas made out of a material they claim is a bunch more durable than Delrin and is also self-lubricating. Not sure how accurate these claims are but whatever. According to their site they have a 22-piece Miata bushing set in the pipeline, so maybe if someone were to approach them with an FD for prototyping they would be able to tool up an FD bushing set. Might be worth a shot...
