Check the BANNERS at the top of the page

MAZDAFORMANCE - it's the online pressence of JEFF HAAS MAZDA in Texas, they can get any OEM parts not just the parts listed on the site, and have much better than over the counter prices.

I've never tried Mazdaformance, but I've bought quite a number of parts from Ray at Malloy Mazda including Japan-only parts and never been less than 110% satisfied.

free shipping too - just ask. Ray is the best friend an FD3S can have. I think he drives one.

The guy at Mazdaformance drives an Acura They are awesome to deal with, really fast with shipping, and their prices are about 30% cheaper than my local dealer.

I once asked them to check on the recalls on my car. I gave them my VIN number. They sent me, in the mail and free of charge, a printout of all the work that had been on car, all of the TSBs, and all the recall info. I was very impressed, to say the least.

I just called Malloy and Mazdaformance..

I got much better pricing from Malloy.. About 25% less.. I was looking for a fender and driverside head light.. 150 and 50..

Not bad when Mazdaformance wanted 200 and 75..

FYI..

Finally, useful info! Thanks herblenny. Do you know the Mazda list on these 2 items? I am curious what the actual markdown % is.

Thanks

Since this came back up, I'll post some results also.

I called both venders and got prices on ALL the compression points, which is apex seals, side seals, corner seals with plugs, and ALL the springs. Malloy was around $60 cheaper than Mazdaperformance. Also I checked on a oil pan and it was $84 SHIPPED from Malloy and $93+shipping from Mazdaperformance.

As noted above Ray at malloy DOES include shipping on his parts...within reason of course. I mean he's not going to ship something real big for free but all the small stuff he will.

I did a little checking and it seemes like Mazdaperformance was about 20% less than retail and Ray was at about a 30% discount. I dont know if its really structured like that or if it just worked out like that on my parts but it was real similar to those discount rates.

STEPHEN,

Thanks for the info. Looks to me like Malloy has the best dealer discount other than going through Mazda Motorsports. I was able to calculate last year that the MM discount was around 35%. This discount works for most parts although I've found out that some parts don't have that much markup, notably reman motors. Most dealers (with the exception of the West Coast where people in CA get screwed) are pretty close in price...

hey, would you mind trying to compare with a dealer in canada, they make cost+10% if you say you are from the rx7club.

couls someone call and check the difference with your Malloy or what ever else

that would be great, i beleive he can beat any US price.

SPO, could you call and compare, try to talk to Jack at the partscounter

get back to me on this
