Question Who makes a TRUE 4" Exhaust for the FD?

I know HKS used to make the 4" Racing Titanium Exhaust, but it's now discontinued. And I believe the Amuse R1000 Titan is now discontinued for the FD as well. Anyone know who else makes a TRUE 4" exhaust (not just the tip, but all the piping, ie a full 4" MP + tailpipe, leading into a canister) for the FD? Oh and please, I'm aware that custom fab shops can make you anything under the sun. That's NOT what I'm asking about here

Here's a pic of the HKS, as an example.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Negative. The Greddy is a) 80mm (3.15") in diameter, and b) a catback only (for the FD). It is titanium, however (which isn't my biggest priority, but that's a definite bonus).

I'd appreciate it if we kept comments off the thread. I'm not particularly interested on ppl's views of these exhausts. This is NOT a discussion thread. I'm only interested in finding out if anyone knows of a company that makes them.

TIA,
~Ramy

PS: Flyboy, easy there little one. Believe it or not, some ppl are actually making enough power to NEED 4" exhausts.

Hey Ramy, I'm not sure about a 4 inch, but Revo Tune makes 90mm dp, mp, and catback for the twins. As for 4 inch for race car apps, I don't even think anyone in Japan is doing it anymore. So, does that mean A`PEX-i is now the biggest with their 95mm?

90mm is 3.5". There are few (not many) who make that... I actually wasn't aware the Apexi was 95mm. That's 3.75." Not bad.

The funny thing is, it isn't that the Japanese don't make these race application exhausts anymore...it's that they don't make them for the FD anymore... (they're still available for other applications).

True. My exhaust is 95mm, but it's because the piping is bigger to accomodate the ATS system built in. I thought the GTSPEC was also a 95mm.

I don't know if you remember Ramy but about a year ago you showed me this Stillway Titanium exhaust. What about that one?

Correct. The GT is the same. About 12inches in it is 3 inch and then goes to 3.75inch. But it's only catback.

I remember hearing about a Japanese only Trust 4" Racing Exhaust, but not sure who has it.
I want to say Ernie T.

Ramy, unfortunately, after HKS pulled the plug, the only company that "mass produced" (so to speak) was the Amuse one you and I were talking about way back in the day. AR-F (i know you know who i'm reffering to) used to make large diameter exhausts for the 20B N/A's they built, but have since stopped working with titanium last i've heard

Other than those, the rest of the 4'' piped exhausts have to be custom made. I will make some moves and see if i can find anything for you though!

From what I understand Sean over at A Spec has one on his FD. It must be a *tight* fit, b/c my full 4 inch exhaust definitely gets close to other components in a few places.

Rambo, why not have one fabbed up? Probably the easiest way. I love the way mine is set up with the flex sleeves, gives an element of adjustability to the whole exhaust.

Yes he does. I have seen it in person and it is a very tight fit.

Haha, you could always just run open off the downpipe, and have muffler super glued and duct taped to the rear bumper for looks. . .

But ya, as Rich said Ramy, check with Sean from A-spec for the 5 incher (his user name is Zero R). I dunno much about it, bc I'm Asian, so 5 inches is humungous and mysterious to me. . . .

What about any 4" inlet universal mufflers like the HKS style (ie import style muffler)?

SMB has a 3.5" full system -

I have one of their high-flow metal cats, and the workmanship is AMAZING.
