112k on my chassis. Motor was replaced by PO at about 88k I'm actually using the original secondary turbo cartridge as the primary in my current setup. The newer secondary has about 25k miles on it.

If there is any way to veryify that you are running the first motor, installed at the factory, then I think you are the new record holder.

Experts, lets help him verify this. Is there any way to verify that he is running the original motor?

Check on the driver door sill, the passenger also for any stickers that say Serviced at Mazda or anything the like that may have shown some dealership tampering. The earlier models had a lot of cars come back to the dealership for new motors.

Have you replaced your clutch? If you have, do you remember if the tension bolts were colored? Colored as in markered at the top?

190+k is pretty wild!

The problem with high mileage sports cars is that they feel like crap with worn out suspension because these suspensions are so harsh to begin with. I got sick of the judders every time I hit a bump instead of a solid WHAP when the car was newer. Compared to my softly sprung 185K miles 626, the 7 feels worn out because of the suspension.

I replaced all of my suspension arms with very low miles suspension arms front and rears, JLab bushings at 98K. The car doesn't feel new but close to it. It's so precise now that I need to get a smaller steering wheel.
