who has rotary extreme's REA-style sleek light kit?
I got the base kit and am running into clearance problems for the lexan covers. just curious if anyone has found an easy fix? I'm thinking the lamps are probably longer than the HID versions; at least they are quite a bit longer than the actual REA ones I have seen in pictures.

i have fitted the kit
to get clearance screw top adjuster to just clear the nylon locknut and the 2 bottom ones to approx 5mm the other side of the locknut.if still catching u can drop the bracket slightly to get few extra mm clearance..it is trial and error but this shd be close to final position..very awkward too high and it hits the lexan too low and less light if u need any more info let me know

thanks, I think I'm going to try and slot the bracket the lights mount to so they can go lower, I just hope there's enough room. I am worried about the light patern tho.

no need to drop any lower if u fit the projector how i explained and make sure the housing/cover is as far forward as poss(ie touching the front bumper)u will get clearance.it is extremely tight ie 1mm or so but if u drop to low u will loose light as the shroud blocks the light halfway down so the lower the light is positioned the less light is projected..search for dccrosby homepage he has the lights and kaifd3s.they were both very helpfull to me
