Who has BNR Intake and/or Intercooler products?

While I wait for pics to be posted on his site....... I was wondering what the intake and IC kit looks like.

Is the Intake kit a cold air intake?

I really like the Tri-Point Intake.......... They make all the cold air intake look inferior........ I have seen this in person at SS5 and was realy impressed with the workmanship........... But these are hard to find and never in stock.......

PM SPOautos, he's the only one I believe that has both, or either for that matter.

I have a couple pics of the intake...but it's on my computer at home. When I get home I'll upload it.

The intake isn't a cold air. It uses one big *** oval K&N filter. The primary and secondary turbos draw air from the same filter.

Its set up similar to Pettits cold air and is really intended for moded cars with no air pump. It is basically a intake alum pipe kit with a huge K&N.

I'll have pics of my car in a week or so and it will show the intake and IC. To be honest he's been doing soooo much turbo and engine business i think he has considered taking them off the site. I dont think he really has time for them.....could be wrong though. I know he hasnt really made an attempt to sell them other than just putting some info on the site.

You can always email Brian and ask him, he tries to respond to everyone within 24hrs.

Yes. It has an aluminum duct attached to it. From my last conversation with Bryan, I believe he has put the ic production on the back burner because of all the motor/turbo business he is currently doing, as SPOautos said.

has anyone run their intercooler pipe like this WITH the airpump in place? I want to keep my plumbing simple like this and keep my airpump. It looks real tight IM wondering if anyone has pictures like this with an airpump.

airpump will not fit because the pipe will have to go too high to clear the pump and therefore the hood will not shut all the way. You will have to curve the pipe around the airpump if you were to keep it

that sucks........... i like that design of the BNR.

But since most of the FD folks are in CA, where the smog rules are tough......... BNR might sell more of these SMIC if he had them designed for folks that must / need to keep the smog devices in place........ not just for smogging, but for the few officers that want to make it an issue to cite a $2500.00 emission modification fine....... yes there are those that have nothign better to do then to give us grief about shiny stuff that makes are cars faster.

Once we are on that EPA poo poo list then we ahve to go to a test only station for the rest of ur life as long as you own it...... and that is a total bitch.....

Well, that and the high cost of living are the only objections I have about CA......... but when it's not raining the ManFagcisco Gay Area has one of the best climate that the rest of the US would envy....... Mediteranian like climate - very mild for the most part.

And we have awesome hills and mountains to drive in......... something that is few and far inbetween east of the rockies.......

It wouldn't be too tough to fab a pipe that curves off the standard y-pipe crossover to the IC inlet since theres more distance to work with than on a standard SMIC.

too bad they're no making them anymore.

I was just kidding with ya anyways

I agree, there should be enough room to work around the airpump so it is possible, just not with what they give you.
