white smoke

Two times saw white smoke out the back from the exhaust. Once the other day when it was being pulled out of the shop from Pettit, and the next night after hitting boost. Any concerns I should have with this?

When it was being pulled out of the shop, was it a cold start up? Also, you're saying the smoke isn't consistent, right? A lot of FDs will "smoke" due to condensation on a cold start up.

White smoke when the engine is cold could just be condensation. Just like any other car on a cold morning...you'll see some vapor coming out of the exhaust. Now, white smoke when it's warm out or when the engine is warm...that could be a problem. If you see it, try to smell the smoke to see if it smells sweet. Sweet smelling white smoke is most likely coolant, and that is definitely cause for concern.

White smoke

Hey, in my 1992 FD 100% stock with twin turbos I get white smoke on cold startup(makes sense like other cars do too) but also, when im worm it seems to be fine, but every once in awhile if I punch it(not every time, maybe 50%) I get the white smoke again. My car is going into the shop soon, I have some oil leaks and really hoping its not one of the turbo seals or other importance. I was thinking oil into the exhaust makes sense for two reasons... 1 on startup, white smoke(burning off the "pool" of oil, goes fine after engines is worm (pool is burned away). What I am confused on is the white smoke after running warm sometimes when I punch it. Any ideas? Could this(crosses fingers) be basic, or am I looking at a costy/painful repair?
