what oil do you guys use?

FINALLY got my FD. I think it needs oil. How many of you guys use synthetic oil? I read that it's ok now but was just wondering.

Oh yeah where the hell is the oil stick? I see where to insert oil but I can't find the stick.

Usually people just get pissed off when we **** with them.

Seriously, the best oil for your motor is Idemitsu, which is availible at www.rx7.com

Castrol GTX 20-50 is what I run in everything. I never felt the need for any synthetic oil.

Of course being in California 20-50 has been fine, others may need different depending on your deep winter conditions.

I saw the FAQ but it didn't have a definitive statement. That's why I added this post. I'm glad I did otherwise I wouldn't know about cryogenic oil. Guys can you tell me if I can get this at kragen or not? I need to know in an hour so I can go before they close. kkthx

Personally I use Redline 15W50. It's never been a problem for me but as the post says it depends on your climate as to which one you need to buy

I'm with elfking. I've been using good ol' Castol GTX 20-50 for years with no issues. Cheap, easy to find, and, uh, cheap and easy to find.
