white smoke = ?

i started my car this morning after not starting it for a couple of days and it was kind of cold and damp and i noticed a lot of white smoke comin out of the exhaust until the car warmed up. after i got to work, i turned off the car and started it again 3 hours later and no white smoke... it seems to be running fine but i know white smoke usually means the water seals are goin bad but then is it normal to have SOME white smoke especially when it's cold and damp? i can't really remember seein any white smoke during the summer when it was warmer... the car has 39k miles and i get a vacuum reading of 16. my apex'i boost gauge is showing like 10.5-7.5-9.5 w/ a downpipe and radiator as my only mods... also, one thing i noticed is my pettit ast that i installed myself ... is always full when i turn off the car. i swear i remember there was usually nothing in the ast after the car was off when i still had the stock one... i don't seem to be loosing coolant or anything... do i have too much coolant in my system?
