whistle / whine from turbo area

unsure whats going on.
had a oil problem with my turbos spitting oil into my air filter box. should point out the car drove fine just after about 30mins of running or ticking over the car would smoke. both turbos pulled in with no noise.

swapped the turbos for a second hand set that i was told were mint. The new set made a whistle / whine from the turbo area they and the car did not seem to have the pull like on the previous set. also the car would rev up fine but as soon as you backed off the revs it would smoke for a few seconds then run fine again.

removed the second set of turbos and fitted a 3rd set now the car runs fine and no smoke what so ever on boost or off
however the car is still making the whistle / whine from the turbo area
not had it out for a run so not sure how its pulling with this set. but the noise gets worse the more you reve the car was thinking it could be a lack of lubrication to one of the turbos but oil pressure seems ok. and all the lubrication lines were blown through with oil.

any info or ideas would be much apriciated hoping they dont need to come off again

Does it whistle when you rev it at idle? I had a whistling noise that came from a vacuum leak. When I had put the air control valve on I didn't seat the check valve correctly between it and the LIM. Therefore a whistling noise came out of this seam. Here's the open seam that caused the whistling noise. Of course the whistling noise could be a boost leak from a missing metal gasket or leaking rubber coupler.

I too have this whistling turbo problem which I can't seem to find the answer too. Everyone else has described it as a "whistle" or "weee" noise on spool has had loose Y-Pipe nuts, but mine are definitely secure.

I hope you don't mind, but I've attached the photos here in case you ever take down those pics from your server.

Another reason to invest in a boost tester.

Or make your own. Search up the numerous thread on where to buy and how to use one.
