You can get one. You just have to ship your car to Nazareth, PA. and have them install it. LOL......

Running full exhaust + intake + M2 ECU (not recommended) at 14 PSI.... I was just driving along at very normal speeds in traffic and pulled a right hand turn and got maybe 2/3 on the gas and pop it went. I think it was due to engine heat/intake air heat (hot day and I was running it hard a few minutes before).

Old n/a FC. Going to Dairy Queen with my girlfriend. (now wife.) Doing about 45mph in 4th gear on decel. Put the clutch in, and it died. Let the clutch out to restart it, and it was down on power/rough idle. I knew it was a motor. You guys know how sucky it is for a engine to die when you put the clutch in?? I mean I was'nt even accelerating!! O-well, the car had 129k miles on it. Apon tear down of the engine, Rob thought a large peice of carbon broke free, and took out the rear rotor. The car had been purchased new by the typical "Little ol' lady" who never reved the engine above 4k rpms.

My 74 repu with a EFI, peripheral port 13B, let go at 9,000rpms when a nut/lock washer off of the CAI came off. That was a sad day.

Blown engine? Which time this year? Accidentally swapped the Trailing connectors so the rear fired on the front and vice versa, Overboosted 41 psi(that isn't a typo), tuned 10.2 a/f and burned a corner of an atkins apex seal, and the last...still have no idea.

41 psi?! Good god, thats insane. I can't believe it even got to 41, I would think it'd have blown at like 20 or so on its way up. Talk about running lean! I'd love to have seen your AFR at 41 psi.

There usually aren't any. Low compression would basically be the only sign, but I'd gaurantee that at least 9/10 of the people on here that have popped motors have had perfectly healthy engines up until the second they went boom. It's usually the result of running lean, or of intake temps being too high, or a bad tank of gas.

Low compression motors have been known to go 10s of thousands of miles anyway, so thats not even a sign that its gonna blow, its just an indication that the motor isn't perfectly healthy.

'Tis why I change one plug and reconnect the wire one at a time.

I was driving down the road after putting a well needed IC coupler on. Previous coupler had 2 inch rip in it and engine was pulling a pitiful 3lbs. Put the new silicone coupler on (not thinking at the time that it would have much effect) and boosted to around 8lbs and CLaCK BUUUuuuuuuUUGGGgggggggggggg guggg guggg it went. Right next door to the projects...not the best place.

If I remember correctly I am on about my 7th motor, I think, maybe????? I'll just give the best one it was my second motor. #2 was beating the **** out of the car with the AC on and went lean burnt corner of 1 apex on front rotor. 2.1 was same blown motor said **** it and boosted 1.5 said damn this is fast I wonder what would happen if I took more fuel out, burnt corner of 1 apex on rear rotor. 2.2 was same motor again, yes it still ran, running against my buddy Rutt's turbo integra, cracked 2 apex's on rear rotor, car wouldn't start again. Tore this motor down and was able to reuse rotors, rotor housings and plates. There was only one nick right before the exhaust port, and I was able to port that out anyway. By the way I drove the motor for 3 months blown also.

Nice. Nothing like a catastrophic failure to warm the heart. Of course they always seem to be more interesting when they happen to other people.

Ran mine in 5 Degree weather. Found out my WG was welded shut. lol blew the rear rotor while speeding up on a normal road. Severe boost spike, but it was a combo of things that cause the pop.

Poped one... racing a spraying corvette @ 14 psi.

Poped two... playing w/ a mustang

Poped three... pulling out of my buddies driveway... (0 psi)

Found a sticking injector... you 1300 RC guys BEWARE!

Fourth motor is getting a little weak so I'm kinda staying off of it w/ a 10.5 afr running at 14psi w/ octane booster and 11's for spark plugs. **Knock knock**
