where to look for FD
I bought mine with 37k miles, all stock, all maintenance records, 93, manual, touring, black with red interior... it took me over 6 months to find it and it was 1100 miles away which it drove perfectly back home!
just be patient and do your homework!

He he...
I have a 40k mile 94 5speed FD that has the MB Color
It is completely stock and looks like it has 10k on it and is just about perfect in the paint department.
I don't even have a tint on it and that is how stock it is..
and it is sitting in my garage with a cover on it right now. Only drive it 100 miles a month

Yeah, I got my bone stock '94 Silver R2 with 28,000 original miles on it for $20.5k. I spent a long time looking several times a day to find that car though. Just be patient. If you're willing to wait a year+ you should be able to find your 40K stocker

With all due respect, actually time is not on your side. Just examine this forum and you will see that another one bites the dust everyday and there are only just so many around.
Good luck though!
I may be willing to sell mine at some point. Near perfect in every way outside and in. Every little gauge and switch actually works. No major dings or blemishes on the paint or leather. In the interest of full disclosure, it does have a slowly failing o-ring but I'm told it should hold for many thousands of miles. Keep in mind this is a repair that will have to be dealt with on every FD out there. Just a fact of life. It is very difficult to get the "actual" perfect one. There is always something you don't know about it seems. Another fact of life. If it were perfect, the guy wouldn't be selling it most likely.
