Where to get 3rd gen transmissions

I just lost reverse. My friend was driving the car and missed 3rd. In doing so I lost 5th, got that gear back but ended up losing reverse. So I was wondering where you might find a transmission lying around.

southern import in grover, nc may have one. They have an R1 there and may have pulled the transmission or something. Next best thing is to find one on the forum. Theyre usually around $300-$400

you might want to try messing with the gear shifter a little more. i had my brother do the same thing and when i got 5th back, i eventually got reverse back. it came back when i was rolling back very slightly while trying to put it in reverse. i'm sure it's still f'd up but for now it works.

Repair the one you have then you know it is good , or buy someones problem ,install it and find it to is bad . The repair you need does not need the entire unit to be disassembled .
