where are the e-brake wires?
i am tryign to install my turbo timer but am unsure of where the emergency brake wires are? I tried splicing into a green wire directly under the handle but i dont think that is the right one. (it smoked when i started the car). Someone mentioned it being red wires but i cant seem to locate any red wires close to the e-brake? ANy help?THanks.

I can't remember the color, but to the left of the e-brake, there is a single wire coming from the main harness. it has a thicker insulated black cover on it protecting it. if you move that cover out of the way and look straight down, you can see the metal end piece that is connected to something else that you can't unplug it from. it's pretty short, so there's not much play between where it is seated and the harness.
hopefully that helps.

Bigger and better things
do this:
Pull the center console cover off ( put your hand in the ebrake area and lift gently and then, move around till its off..
Then disconnect every connector under it and unscrew your shift know and remove the center console. Then @ the back where the ebrake pivots there is a screw holding the boot inplace, remove that screw and slide the boot up.. Then you should see 1 wire
grab teh wire and pull upwards. it will slide off.. then remove some of that foam crap I guess and attach it however you would do that... I did it with jason CRX on his car and it was easy p cheesy!
