Where does this ground wire attach
I'm reinstalling my engine after a lengthy rebuild (I'm slow) and I can't quite remember where this ground wire goes: please see attached pic. It is a black wire with a yellow stripe, maybe 6 gauge, coming off the drivers side body harness. I'm not sure if it connects to the back of the power steering pump, AC compressor, or somewhere on the engine block (maybe the center housing just below spark plugs)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Glenn

Hi there,
It should connect to a 10 mm bolt that on a thinish pressed steel 'bracket' that connected (bolts to one side of) to the a/c/ power steer unit. This bracket holds the loom too. The bolt is kinda 'in line' with the lower plugs.
Good luck - Rusty

The frame is already grounded under the big fuse box on the driver's side, see attachment.
I suspect the connector OP is asking about needs to be attached directly engine metal, and is what provides the majority of the ground for the starter, far and away the biggest electrical load in the car.
