Where do these go? (engine bay pics)

Got the car last week...failed to notice if there were previously hoses in these places or not.
First pic is tube coming from rear of intake manifold?
Second one is on the exhaust manifold?

Yeah it's some shatty heat wrap =T So, is the first one sucking any air in even with the airbox missing? (ie: should i put a breather on it?)
The second isn't going to anything though...there's no hose connected to it or bov. It's not the clear tube to the left of the circle, it's a flange coming off the actual manifold itself.

Before you plug the BOV outlet on the Y-Pipe,...make sure you have a BOV connected somewhere on your IC pipe line.
If not, then you'll need to install a BOV on the outlet shown in the photograph.

I think that the preveious owner of the car took out those valves to make that blow off valve sound read this.Hope this helps.
"If you want to make the same blow off valve noise between shifts that the after-market blow-off valves do, just remove the rubber hose that goes from your air box to the factory blow-off valve. Remember to cap the hole on the air box."
Got the info from http://www.rx7.org/Robinette/notes_engine.htm

You still need the BOV, just the hose to connect it to the airbox doesn't need to be there.
The BOV missing will cause a HUGE boost leak, it will not effect vacuum.

Just want to add to my original post: *IF* you don't already have a BOV attached to the IC piping somewhere, then you need to use the connection off the Y-Pipe as turbojeff has mentioned. If you already have a BOV on your IC piping somewhere else, you can and should cap it.
