Oops I got mixed up, I actually have the type-1 which looks exactly like yours but is blue and flashes amber/red when it counts down. I was hoping there would be a setting to change the lighting to amber.

Your speedometer only goes up to 180 km/h (112 mph)? Mine (94 Canadian) goes to 280 km/h (its so funny to hear stupid people ask me if my car really goes 280 mph). Is that true for all of the newer (I see yours is a 2000) FDs? That seems like the other extreme of the 40psi boost gauge - I would guess that speedo has been maxed out before...

The speedo goes only up to 180Km/h because the car is JDM. In Japan there is a law the the max speed a car can reach is 180km that's why the car has a stupid ignition cut when the speed reaches 180km/h. It can be removed by aftermarket ecu or Apexi RSM. All the JDM cars have speedos up to 180km/h

The boost gauge goes up to 1bar-15psi, it reads max 10*10KPa or something like this. It is stupid though because of the scaling. it's divided in 7 segments instead of 10 so you cannot see the exact boost, i just calculate. Anyway mine goes to max at WOT

I have a Blitz DC TT and mounted it below the left side of the radio using "hercules putty" (lower right of pic)

I was actually referring to SpeedKing's boost gauge which goes to 40 psi as TTT pointed out.

shheeesh.

My gf is the same way, actually has those exact gauges in those exact positions.

I hate it.
Because that is how the DEFI D-Gauges come, and because they are regarded as the most stock looking.

Mine was right in front of shifter/below DIN box with velcro. I have since removed it.

Left behind the steering wheel and under the indicator lights. It's out of the way, and I can see if I decide to look at it.

I'm saving my "realestate" for more important things.
